Main responsibilities:
- Contributing to the development of new products or product features to ensure successful releases
- Working as part of a team to develop, deploy, monitor, and maintain the core product
- Leading, mentoring, and supporting team members to build a high-performing team
- Partnering with talent acquisition consultants to hire and onboard the best candidates to the team
- Setting goals, monitoring progress, and providing feedback to team members
- Researching and implementing complex solutions
- Participating in code reviews and pair programming
- Designing, writing, testing, and building a maintainable, scalable codebase
- Assisting in building CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools to help the team develop more efficiently
- Leading, mentoring, and supporting team members to build a high-performing team
- Driving the requirements gathering phase of projects; balancing the needs and goals of the client as well as the scope and budget of the project
Requirements:
- 5+ years of Software Development experience
- Bachelor's or MS degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Familiar with a variety of development languages, markup languages, and platforms with the ability and affinity to learn new ones rapidly
- Experience with full stack development and development sprints (SCRUM framework)
- Experience with React, Vue and other recent JavaScript frameworks
- Proven record of creating highly scalable RESTful APIs and applications
- Experience with specific Python libraries and frameworks such as Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, Scikit-Learn, Flask-API, sql alchemy, and Dash is a plus
- Experience or strong knowledge of Postgres and Redis
- Experience with using and designing RESTful APIs
- Understanding of secure coding principles and experience in implementing secure web development practices.
